2019 Summer Public Relations Internship

The ideal candidate is outgoing with strong communication and organizational skills. The position includes writing, project management, social media posting and monitoring and more.
We’re looking for someone who is inquisitive, a self-starter, a strong writer, social media-savvy and willing to go above and beyond to deliver high-quality results. Previous internship experience preferred.

For the summer of 2019, MindFire is looking for a savvy, motivated intern interested in getting plenty of hands-on experience in public relations, social media, branding and marketing.
MindFire’s Intern Arsonist responsibilities include:
§ Write copy in the form of press releases, social media posts, blog posts and more.
§ Post, monitor and craft responses on social media for clients and for MindFire.
§ Proofread materials following Associated Press style.
§ Stay aware of client activities to provide assistance to account executives, project managers and other departments as requested.
§ As needed, go off-site to take photos, videos and assist with coordination of client events such as video shoots, ribbon cuttings, and exhibit openings. (Driver’s license and means of transportation required.)
§ Assist Media Arsonist and PR Arsonist with tracking client paid and earned media.
§ Perform administrative duties, such as communicating with vendors, answering the office phone, transferring and managing messages as needed.
