Duties & responsibilities:
-Manage all aspects of the Bureau’s primary website (visitquadcities.com) including: programming new features, editing content, designing pages, constructing navigational elements, enhancing usability, maintaining editorial integrity
-Continued integration of website with destination CRM (Simpleview), as well as using the Simpleview API to gather and display data in a user-friendly format
-Select and implement a Content Management System to improve the flow of content across the website and allow access for a variety of CVB staff members
-Conceive, design, program and construct a variety of microsites, which market to specific subsets of users and/or events
-Maintain oversight of the Quad Cities social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest
-Assist with completing social content calendar for posts across all Quad Cities social media
-Assist with design and content editing of email campaigns to partners, stakeholders, and leisure visitors
-Use Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics to analyze the success of Bureau  campaigns and inform the design of future web pages, social content, email blasts and ad buys
-Store and manage all digital marketing assets, including professional photography files, user-generated content, social video, and b-roll
-Foster and maintain a positive relationship with industry partners and stakeholders across the Quad Cities region (Scott and Rock Island Counties)
-Assist the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and the Marketing & Public Relations Manager with other communications responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred qualifications:
-Must be able to work independently and have the ability to self-teach new web languages, applications, software, and social concepts
-Knowledge of basic web design, HTML and CSS, and web programming languages. Experience with PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, or MySQL a plus.
-Experience using multiple browsers and designing for cross-browser compatibility
-Knows the basics of responsive design and can successfully incorporate responsive ideas into future design frameworks
-Presence on and basic working knowledge of a variety of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Snapchat
-Friendly, outgoing and able and willing to interact with significant members of the community on a daily basis
-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Dreamweaver and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
